As you were waiting for the new AppliChem catalog 6 months longer than usual, you are now holding the showpiece in your hands. We let no grass grow under our feet and cleared the "old" catalog. A few products, maybe 10 to 15 made room for 366 new items.
- The product group placed together with the first regeneration system for DNA binding columns, maxXbond™ and maxXbond™ AX extended by decontamination reagents for the laboratory: DNA-ExitusPlus™, DNA-ExitusPlus™ IF (the indicator-free version) and Autoclave-ExitusPlus™ destroy all nucleic acids by chemical-catalytical mechanism. Please find more information on the following pages or at www.applichem.com.
- Don't be afraid of RNases in e.g. gel electrophoresis tanks or any other surfaces: RNase-ExitusPlus™ destroys nucleases such as the highly stable and resistant RNases. The reagent is non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-volatile, but biodegradable!
- Immunoassay buffer: Immunoassays suffer from cross reactivity which may result in false positive bands or a high background. A series of new buffers from AppliChem will help you to circumvent or avoid these drawbacks.
- InfectoPrep detection kits for bacterial DNA: The detection of bacterial DNA in specimen, including whole blood, is hindered by the presence of large amounts of human DNA. Therefore, a correct analysis depends on the removal of excess of human DNA and enrichment of the bacterial DNA. The kits provided by AppliChem enable to enrich bacterial DNA by a factor of 1000 compared to conventional bacterial DNA isolation kits.
- Nucleic acid-free PCR reagents InfectoDetect: The more sensitive a detection method, the more critical is the quality of the reagents employed. It is well-known that many reagents are contaminated with bacterial DNA, leading to false positive results. The InfectoDetect reagents are free of bacterial DNA and are based on the detection of the conserved 16S rDNA.
